The return of Krista Meadows and the Sleeping Giants. (KM+SG) delivers an eruptive amalgam of Classic Soul, Indie Rock and hints of bold, romantic melodic tones. Krista began KM&SG in 2012 out of Springfield, Missouri. In 2014, with additional 4 new bandmates, the band performed at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood to a receptive, energetic crowd and were encored twice.
The band brings an atmosphere of fun and uplifting pop/art rock mixed with introspective rock ballads, causing a fusion of bold, sexy, sweaty 70’s-era rock ‘n roll, blues and soul.
Krista Meadows is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and composer who simmers with the tenacity of an evocative frontwoman and monster vocalist. Vocal stylings have been compared to, Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane,) Siouxsie and the Banshees, Tori Amos, Lady Gaga and Lzzy Hale.
This will be KM+SG’s only 2020 appearance, showcasing a glimpse of what to expect from them in 2021.
